First Aid at Work

This course has been designed to provide a certificated award that equips individuals to become a Certified First Aider with the skills and knowledge required to deal with a range of emergencies requiring first aid in the workplace and covers how to: 

1. carry out the role and responsibilities of a first aider 
2. assess an incident
3. provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty  (CPR & AED)
4. provide first aid to a casualty who is choking
5. provide first aid to a casualty with external bleeding
6. provide first aid to a casualty who is in shock
7. provide first aid to a casualty with minor injuries

11. provide first aid to a casualty with suspected chest injuries
12. provide first aid to a casualty with burns and scalds
13. provide first aid to a casualty with an eye injury
14. provide first aid to a casualty with sudden poisoning
15. provide first aid to a casualty with anaphylaxis
16. provide first aid to a casualty with suspected major illness
