FAIB regulated and accredited First Aid at Work training courses can be delivered as a 2 day in person course or 1 day online and 1 day in person.
Being only 6 hours duration, the FAIB accredited and regulated Emergency Paediatric First at Work training course is delivered in person.

Maximum Number of learners on a course is 12 per instructor.
Learners should be aged 16 years or over on the first day of the course.
The course will be delivered using a blend of written and spoken words using the English language.
Where a learner requires facilitation of reasonable adjustments the onus is on the learner to make the trainer aware of this. Reasonable adjustments must be requested at time of course booking. A minimum of 7 days notice is required to fully discuss their practical application and enablement. Failure to provide reasonable adjustment details means they may not be facilitated or enacted.
Registration, attendance, feedback and certification will be via electronic communication such as email.
Learners are advised to wear comfortable clothing which will allow them to perform tasks and assessments on the floor without restriction of movement.
* where the course needs to be delivered at third party premises this will be at the mutual agreement of all parties with the venue costs being added to the cost of booking the course.
Written assessments covering the course syllabus may be used as part of the assessment process and may be presented to learners in online or paper format.
The following are compulsory assessments which must be done face to face:
This 2 day (12 hours) course follows the First Aid Industry Body syllabus and can be delivered entirely in person or with a blend of online theory and in person practical session.
The outline of the course syllabus is:
1) the EFAW syllabus
2) Identification and initial management of head injuries, electric shock, consequences of extreme body temperature, circulatory and breathing disorders, poisons, sprains & strains, spinal injuries, stroke, catastrophic bleeding

1) the roles and responsibilities of the First Aider, including legislative obligations and accident reporting
2) identification and initial management of anaphylaxis, asthma, bites, stings, bleeding, broken bones, burns, choking, CPR, diabetes, drowning, epilepsy, foreign objects, seizures, wounds
